Over the recent time, NVIDIA has made a great development in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Keeping in view the coming trend of Artificial Intelligence, NVIDIA has launched Fugatto. Fugatto is an Ai-powered music and sound editor that has an ability of generating new and unique audio. This technology greatly improves the audio experience of a listener.
As we know that NVIDIA is one of the biggest and leading providers of chips and graphics cards. Recently, NVIDIA has revealed their Artificial Intelligence model that can generate music and audio. It can also generate novel-like voices. The actual target of the technology are the producers and makers of films, music and video games etc.
Until the recent news, NVIDIA had no immediate plans to launch the model in public. Fugato (Foundational Generative Audio Transformer Opus 1) technology .
NVIDIA stated that the Fugatto is entirely different from other music and audio generation technologies. This is because it has a capability to absorb and customize current sounds. The model can listen to music that is played on Piano and change that sound into a song sung in a human voice. Also this model can take the human voice and transform the accent and mood expressed in the song.

It would be wrong if we say that Fugatto’s sound is completely novel. This conclusion can be drawn because all Ai models generate output from an algorithm that utilizes current data source to create something. Fugatto is different from other models. NVIDIA states that this model has an ability to create soundscapes by combining two different voice effects to generate something real.
NVIDIA claims that these types of capabilities have never been seen before in any type of Ai audio generation model. Apart from basic features, Ai model has more fine controls for users to edit the sound they create.
NVIDIA is not the first company who has launched their generative Ai music model. Last month Meta also launched their first Ai generative music model named Movie Gen. This can create both video and sound for short movies.
NVIDIA has not told much about the data and algorithm used to train the Ai model Fugatto. NVIDIA and Meta both stated that currently they have no plans to make Fugatto available for Ai developers. The report of Catazaro states that his team is planning for how this Ai model can be made available for the public with all safety precautions.
“Any generative Ai technology always brings some risks, because some people might use that technology to create something that we may not prefer to create. We need to be more careful about that, due to which we have no sudden plans of releasing the model to the public”.
The developers of the Ai model have to still find out how to avoid the misuse of the technology. Users can generate and spread false information or violate copyrights by creating copyrighted characters.
The connection between Ai and Hollywood is tense. Some Ai companies are trying to deal with Hollywood studios over the use of their data. Hollywood actress Scarlett Johnson has clearly blamed Open Ai for generating her Ai voice. Also she has warned them to take legal action against the company.
